Welcome to Clinical Cancer Research Unit
The Clinical Cancer Research Unit has highly trained staff and is fully equipped with all the technology necessary for advanced phase I and phase II trials. The staff includes 4 oncologists, 6 research nurses,a secretary and a project coordinator. They all have broad experience in oncology and are specifically trained in clinical trial technology. The research nurses cooperate closely with other research nurses in Europe and in the US.
The main objective of the research unit is to perform high-quality and safe research which will benefit current and future cancer patients. All studies are carried out in accordance to Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and established Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).

All patient referrals should be addressed to: Serviceenheten at The Norwegian Radium Hospital c/o Dr. Marta Nyakas, Montebello, 0310 Oslo, Norway.
Telephone consultation hours
Oncologists: Monday-Friday 1400-1600.
For an emergency, please call +47 22 93 40 00 and ask for the oncologist to be paged.
Study nurses: Monday-Friday 0800-0830 and 1400-1500.
